My sister and her belly!

My sister Shawna is 16 weeks pregnant, and this is the first time I was able to photograph her. I am so excited about having a little neice or nephew, although I am really leaning towards nephew. :) I am planning on taking better pictures at Christmas when she is home again, as these were done rather quickly.

I love these borders!

I have been spending alot of time at ILP lately and am addicted to the amazing borders and actions the people there have been sharing. There are so many talented people.

Now, let's see if I can remember who made each border. :) The black & white soccer picture has Natalia's Sloppy Border; the green leaf picture and the grumpy picture of Dakota in the garden is Lisa's Border #2; the black & white of Jon & Shelley is Lisa's Border; and the fishing picture is several of Teya's borders used together. A few new pics...

Just wanted to share a few new pictures. I have no idea what setting my camera was on, I need to start remembering these things :) These are straight out of the camera, no photoshopping. :) (Oh, the toy is "Cutie", Dakota had to bring her with us, that's what she is looking at in her hands.)

Last day of soccer

Hi. I know I havn't been around much lately, with the computer crashing, losing all of my pictures and now my camera is not working well, I havn't really felt like taking many pictures. And I have let my blogs slip. But last night was the last night of soccer, so I have a few pics. These are not good technically in any way. These are more turn the camera on, snap a picture and keep your fingers crossed you got a half decent one before the camera shut off. And Dakota was not willing to cooperate. All of the field shots are zoomed in way too far and are really not clear, but I love the way Dakota goes after that ball. :) And she received a medal afterwards, but I had to fight through a crowd and the sun was shining right on her, so the shot isn't very good, but I guess I have to live with it. :) Anyway, here are her soccer pics. Jon & Shelley - August 2006

I haven't been around for the last couple of days because we have had no computer. My wonderful husband, whom I love very much dispite everything, accidently fried our hard drive, and with it lost over 300 pictures! I almost freaked! I didn't have any of them backed up because our CD burning wasn't working. He was supposed to be fixing the burner so I could back up my pictures and instead... nothing! I had a few of the better ones saved here and at photobucket, so I did get a few back, but I lost so many!!! Oh well, from now on I'll save them on the computer and photobucket every time I save!

Ice cream after soccer practice last Monday

Took these pictures of Dakota enjoying her ice cream last week after soccer practice. They aren't the best pictures of her, as she did not want her picture taken, but I think they're cute. And they turned out so clear! :) Yes, that is the same ice cream store as my first post, we go there a lot through the summer. She did great at soccer practice, they played a game of keep away and she was the only one not to get caught. :) Ofcourse I didn't get very good pictures of her playing, I was too far away. Maybe next week....

Dakota riding without training wheels!

We told Dakota it was time to start riding her bike without training wheels, and when she could, she would get a new bike. She didn't want us to help, and practiced by herself! She can get 2 pedals, and then gets scared and puts her foot down. She'll be riding soon enough! I got a few pictures. Can you believe I havn't taken pictures in over 2 weeks! We spent Canada Weekend camping at Ellenwood, and Matt & I have both been sick this week! But I'm back now! I'll try to keep a bit more up to date with my blog, but anyone who knows me knows I'm pretty slack! :)
